Marching Season in New Orleans

In 2019 we decided to spend a week in New Orleans during “marching season” – that time between New Year’s Day and and Fat Tuesday/Mardi Gras when various local Krewes and groups mount parades through the various areas in and around New Orleans.  While there are a number of large Krewes that parade along St Charles Ave and Canal St, there are also a large number of smaller Krewes that parade all around. Here are a selection of photos from several of these smaller perambulations.
